Our scheduling team will call you soon to find a time for your Binocular Vision Assessment. In the meantime, here's what the visit looks like.
Headaches, eye strain, motion sickness and trouble at the computer can have different causes. Sometimes how the two eyes work together is part of the picture. This assessment measures that, and Dr. Rebecca Verna goes over the results with you at the same visit.
After a refraction, you wear a lightweight headset and follow the instructions you hear. It measures how your two eyes work together and takes about 5 to 6 minutes.
Dr. Verna walks you through what the test found on screen, in plain language, during the same visit.
If it makes sense for you, she'll discuss whether an option such as Neurolens lenses may be a good fit.
The Binocular Vision Assessment is not a comprehensive eye exam. If you'd like one, we can schedule it at the same time.
The $50 assessment fee is credited toward a same-day Neurolens purchase. If you also have a comprehensive eye exam with us, the assessment fee is waived (insurance copays may apply).
Lens pricing depends on your results and needs. The office reviews it with you after the assessment.
You're welcome here. The same assessment checks your current prescription and how your eyes are working together.
